Rethlyn Photography was founded by me, Rethlyn Beaty, in 2019 in Utah.
After three years of treating photography as a hobby, I had finally found my style. I love rich colors and use composition that captures important details. My drive to start Rethlyn Photography came because of my experience as a client. In the summer of 2018 I got married to my wonderful husband. It was great, except for the fact that he’s 16 inches taller than me! This made posing for our engagement and wedding pictures super awkward. To add to this, both my husband and I don’t like being in front of the camera. Getting our photographs taken is something neither of us look forward to.
After this experience I took special interest in learning how to pose individuals, couples, and families. After much learning and practice in guiding clients to look natural and flattering in every picture I deliver, I knew that I had a valuable service to offer. As my promise states:

My promise is that YOU are my top priority. We will have fun during out sessions together. You will never have to receive a picture that makes you think, “I love the colors and the composition in this picture, but I wish my pose didn’t look so awkward.” I want every picture you own to be ones you can share to the world.
